Minnesota Chapter leadership officially changed with the handoff of the Governor’s Pin at the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session & Expo 2025 (ACC.25) in Chicago, IL this week.

Thank you Dr. Retu Saxena for your thoughtful & committed service to the MN chapter for the past 3 years, and a warm welcome to incoming president Dr. Amin Rahmatullah! See our current Board of Councilors here.

Minnesota FIT Jeopardy Team at ACC.25

March 31, 2025

Kudos to the Minnesota FIT Jeopardy team for a good showing at the American College of Cardiology’s Annual Scientific Session & Expo (ACC.25) in Chicago, IL on March 25th. The team, who played very competitively, faced off against teams from West Virginia, Mississippi and Oregon.

The team was comprised of HCMC/MHI Cardiology Fellows Michael Downey, MD; Kevin Buda, DO; and Jimmy Evers, MD.
