ACC Legislative Conference
The 2025 ACC Legislative Conference offers cardiovascular clinicians spanning the entire cardiovascular care team a chance to hear from ACC leaders, staff and other experts on health policy issues affecting patients and the profession.
This signature three-day event provides an important opportunity to speak directly with members of Congress and their staff on the final day of the meeting.
ACC, AHA Issue New Acute Coronary Syndromes Guideline
The newest clinical guideline released by the ACC and the American Heart Association (AHA) includes new evidence and updated recommendations for managing patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
The guideline primarily focuses on the management of type 1 acute myocardial infarction – both NSTEMI and STEMI – and includes recommendations addressing initial evaluation and management of suspected ACS, standard medical therapies, reperfusion strategies, catheterization lab considerations, cardiogenic shock management, long-term management and secondary prevention, and more. Leaders from ACC’s Clinician Well-Being Workgroup and their guests will define how coaching can help with building confidence, improving self-leadership, gaining insights on your skills and increasing well-being. Drs. Jennifer Berliner, Retu Saxena, Dan Murphy, Lee Goldberg, and Sarah Samaan will share their personal experiences with executive coaching, and describe the advantages cardiovascular leaders can gain.
